By Laura Davidson

SAN MARCOS- Colton Farber, from Boerne, Tx, is a senior at Texas State. Colton is majoring in Public Relations and is a part of the fraternity Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He’ll graduate December 2017 at 23 years old.

Growing up, Colton played various of sports including basketball, golf, and football. His football career ended when he came across a shoulder injury during a game. After continuing to play with his hurt shoulder, he then received shoulder surgery after having it popped out of place one too many times. Not only was he hurt in football but also in basketball. Colton tore his ACL playing basketball and had to have surgery on both of his knees.

Growing up, Colton was able to travel to different places with his family like Garner State Park and Disney World. After spending a couple of summers at the Frio river, it’s no surprise he became a river rat and moved to San Marcos to bask in sun on the Blanco and San Marcos river. Disney World is also one of his most frequent places to visit. Colton is such a fan of Disney that he stared as Beast in his high school’s production of Beauty and the Beast. With that being said, you can only imagine his excitement of meeting Belle in Disney World.

After Colten graduates, he plans to head to San Antonio to continue with the next chapter of his life.
