Tim Hennessy's hockey career

Tim Hennessy was born to Chris and Diana Hennessy in Minneapolis, MN in August of 1992.  The family moved to Dallas, TX when Tim was four and he immediately began his love affair with sports, especially ice hockey.

Tim learned to skate at an early age, and quickly became fixated on the game.  He began playing in organized leagues in Dallas at the age of five, and developed skill that allowed him to be apart of travel teams that played throughout the United States, and Canada.

Tim decided to focus on his high school hockey team, Southlake Carroll, after a five-year travel hockey career.

He played all four years of high school hockey on the varsity team, and overcame adversity each year.  He suffered a blown ACL his sophomore year, and a broken arm that required surgery his senior season.

Despite injury, Tim led Southlake Carroll to back-to-back state championship appearances his junior and senior years, capturing the state title in 2010.

Tim decided to hang up his skates after his senior season, but still stays involved with the game through pick up games on the weekends.

Tim currently attends Texas State University- San Marcos and plans to graduate in 2015.
