SAN MARCOS- Nicole Weber, a 20-year-old junior at Texas State University, is striving to become a Broadcasting Journalist when she graduates from school. She is very involved in school groups and activities such as her membership in the sorority ZTA. Even though she misses her high school friends, she is very ready to make new friends and she likes the fact that she is able to be away from home for once.
This native of San Antonio, Texas learned of her love for broadcast journalism through other learned skills during her lifetime. She was always told that she excelled in writing and once she got into theater in high school she realized she loved being able to talk to and in front of people. The combination of these two qualities made her think that she would be great at being a broadcast journalist. She wants to start out in Austin, but once she’s able to get her foot in the door she is willing to travel anywhere as long as she’s broadcasting and doing what makes her happy.
On a more personal level, Nicole has many interests besides school going on. Some fun things to do to her are to hang out with friends, go to the movies, and just chill. She’s a very down to earth and outgoing girl and is very likely to succeed in her goals in life.
