Reading Encouragement for Boys

The academic rivalry between genders continue as parents of boys struggle to keep them interested in reading while girls read with ease.

Educators and parents have conflicting views about whether boys slow reading tendencies are due to sociological or biological factors. Other factors such as genetics, environment and culture benefit or harm the children. Some educators think that the concern over slow reading habits are exaggerated while other think it is an epidemic.
