Boys literacy levels decline

It has been disputed that individuals' learning capacities can differ in regards to their gender. There is a growing trend of male-literacy-incapacity being seen around the world. Scholars are raising concern in the difference between male and female decisions to want to read and in their ability to comprehend the literature read. While the specific contributions to this matter have yet to be found, it is found that boys require more time to read, have more difficulty reading narrative texts over informative texts, and are largely half-hearted about the act of reading.
