Question 1: How do you feel about enforcement of the smoking ban on campus? (NOTE: University police and other campus authorities plan to issue citations for violations beginning fall 2012.)
When asked if she agreed with the enforcement of the smoking ban on campus, Hays said, "No, we're all adults and if we choose to indulge in, ya know, cigarrettes than we should be able to."

Question 2: Do you smoke?  If yes, why? If no, why? How long have you been smoking?
(no response) Hays does not smoke but she at the same time she sympathizes with smokers in that they have no designated location on campus for people to smoke.

Question 3: How do you feel the smoking ban affects the campus?
"I don't know, I guess some parents and some more uptight students might be like, oh, smoke free, they're looking out for our health. I don't think it does anything as tremendous as they thought it was going to."

Question 4: Do you think the smoking ban should be repealed? Why or why not?
When asked if she thought the smoking ban would actually last very long or not, Hays said, "I really don't think it is. From what I see it's not even well enforced. It's kind of just something we say happens and we have signs put up but I don't think anyone obeys them."
